Until Bob Nutting sells the team, things will not change. Nutting ultimate goal is to achieve .500. If they do, thats like winning the world series.

About 6 months ago, Mario Lemieux and Ron Burkle made a serious offer to buy the team. Nutting didn't even get back to them.

Nutting is the worst owner in pro sports. I've said it 100 times.

Pitt. Pirates, Detroit Kittens, LA Clippers and the like, help the elite teams rack up victories. Professional sports: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. If you happen to be a fan of these perennial "shit" teams, too bad. Raise ticket prices, concessions, parking and charge more for tv rights and then you might have a decent team payroll. Until then we have to suffer. Pay me now or pay me later?
