I know this is not baseball related, but how about the Bears picking up Wooten from NW? I think he will have a great career, especially on that re-vamped line next to Tommie Harris and Julius Peppers.

I love the pick (although I'll admit that I am probably biased). You really have to throw out last year because he was coming back from that brutal knee injury in that 08 Alamo Bowl. We all know it's going to take a year to recover from that kind of injury. He dominated the Big Ten in his Junior season and really would have been a first round if he chose to enter the draft after that season had he not gone down.

I'm pumped to see what Rod Marinelli can do with him. Like you said, with Peppers getting all the attention on the other side and hopefully Tommie Harris plays interested this year and get a push up the middle. The defense could be good again next year. I With Urlacher and Tinoisamoa coming back and drafting Wright for the secondary they could be fun to watch again this year.

P.S - Nice to see Kafka go to the Eagles. I think that's a great spot for him. Also, exciting to see McMannis go to Houston in the 5th round. He was one of the best players in the Big Ten last year.

Back to back taking it in the backside.

Geez. I thought we had paid enough last night.

Let's get the other two in to ease the pain.
