Does anybody know how much he got? CJ is a great kid. He was on the Deans List at Clemson if I am not mistaken. He could double as a return man. He is a threat to take it to the house every time he drops back for a return. A great athlete with superb physical agility.

I could compare Spillers ability to shuck and jive with Eric Dickerson and Napolean McCallum. However Dickerson and McCallum were considerably bigger than Spiller. Spiller's is the most dangerous when he can get to the outside and turn the jets on. He may have to add a few pounds to take the banging in the NFL on a weekly basis.

I do not care how good Spiller is; he still needs an OL to open holes for him. In addition, yes he is undersized, and will need to bulk up. Not drafting Clausen was a grievous error; he is better than anything that we have, however again the line is in shambles. This was a money move as Ralph is cheap and knows that he will need $ to sign Spiller. Also, this is what Wilson wants, one marque player to bring in the fans, he does not care about winning.[/FONT]

u hit the nail on the head that the Bills look for the marquee guy to sell tickets. They were reportedly going to take Tebow and were crushed when the Broncos took him/>>he could have easily been our starter with the schmuks we have there competing for the starting position.

Seattle Times, with Rawls out of commission for a considerable amount of time. Rawls is out with a cracked bone in his fibula.
Seattle beats other teams to the gun

C.J. Spiller was being linked to various teams such as the Minnesota Vikings and the New York Jets. The 29-year-old did work out with the Jets recently but surprisingly ended up getting signed by the Seahawks. With the signing, C.J. Spiller will work alongside Christine Michael and C.J. Prosise for the Seattle.
Better outlook for the Seahawks

Since parting with the New Orleans Saints, Spiller has been an interesting player to consider on the free agent market. He is a previous top 10 pick and made the Pro Bowl back in 2012 while playing with the Buffalo Bills.

Like most NFL players, injuries have been singled out as a reason. He was limited to just nine games last season with the Saints and apparently one of the reasons why he was in favor of Travaris Cadet.
"C.J.'s health and his movement skills look noticeably different," Saints head coach Sean Payton said via Times-Picayune. "He worked his butt off in the offseason to get the strength back in that leg he had his injury. That's been real encouraging."

Now, C.J. Spiller gets a chance to show off his versatility once more. The deal is seen as a low-risk move for the Seattle Seahawks which could turn out profitable if the 29-year-old running back can recall his old form. To make room for Spiller, the Seahawks released Terrence Magee.
