Now there are some that may say 25 mil a year is too much for anybody, but it's a good deal for Philly never the less, they lock up one of MLB's premier tater smasher until the end of his prime (he'll be 35 when the contract is up) he averages .280-50-140, even stole 8 bases last year, and played in every game the last 2 seasons.
Good guy in the clubhouse, good guy for public relations, good guy for baseball.
Well deserved.
