Bo Jackson + the eyes of Magic, no doubt.

We'll see if he has the intensity of MJ. Last game was a pretty good showing.

I agree - that half court shot like it was a routine jumper was ludacris - I would have had to gun it like a football

That near-half court shot was scary how easy it looked.

Bo Jackson is a good one...

Lawrence Taylor also comes to mind...

Lebron is easily the greatest athlete the NBA has ever seen...

Not player , athlete,.....

Measuring athletic skill by how big and fast someone is instead of how much they help their team win makes absolutely zero sense

ok... i suppose we cant just talk about athletic ability...

why dont you start a thread talking about how much a player helps a team win and stay out of here ....

I am glad you posted this thread. I didn't see the shot on Sunday and after reading what people wrote, I had to go and see it.

On my phone it said 34 Foot shot. That was like 3 point jump shot for him. That was sick. I don't usually get too excited about a half court shot or anything, but that was crazy how easy he shot it.

Because you already did when you made the statement "greatest athlete"

are there a whole lotta players who help their teams more than Lebron...? I hate saying good things about this guy, but he's playing with journeymen and head-cases for the most part.

I agree...lifelong Cavs fan here (I was in high school during their first year). I could hardly believe my eyes when I first saw him play. What's more, he has really worked on his game, which says a lot about him since he has so much talent. When he first came into the league he wasn't that good a jump shooter...he is now. Was not a good FT shooter...now he is decent. Was not a good defensive player....he is now. You don't realize how big he is until you see him in person. He has great mental makeup too, I think. He is smart and has developed into an excellent leader. Also is very tough, rarely misses a game, and doesn't shy away from contact (to say the least) when certain teams realize they can't stop him and try to hurt him (Wizards). That shot yesterday shows how strong he is. He makes those kind of shots quite often. And his strength allows him to make passes that noone else can make.
The only thing that bums me out about this guy is all the hate that sometimes comes his way.
