Ray will break Reggie's all time 3 ptr record early next year.

I always liked Reggie, watched his whole career, am a big fan.

But, Ray Allen is better. IMHO.

He's going to retire with more 3's and a higher %.

Sometimes you have to look beyond the #s.....

For me Ray Allen wasn't as good when he was "the guy"....but Reggie played almost his whole career as "the go to guy"....and I think that plays a huge difference in %s and such.

Bottom line, if the game is on the line, I want Reggie...no doubt....both are money from FT but a last second shot (3pt or not) give me MILLER TIME!!!

I think some of you forgot how good Reggie was- That guy was a stud in the playoffs... Plus he was one of those players that everybody hated unless you were a PAcers fan... Its close but i like Reggie!@

please. Reggie Miller and its not even close.

well, stats and the record book to support this position, but I'm sure there's a good reason behind it

I'd take Ray Ray a/k/a Jesus

but I'm totally biased

Please... why don't you try to backup your absurd comments with
some kind of argument?

The fact is, it is close. Ray Allen would have even better offensive
numbers if he played for a team that required him to carry more
of the offensive load.

reggie > ray

reggie was the go to guy on his team. led his team to the finals and a few conference finals. ray couldn't do that alone. reggie played with no hof'ers his entire career.

I have to say that Ray is a little better. His stats are better, he has a ring, and he has had some big shots in the play-offs not that Miller hasn't. Miller had some pretty good supporting cast with marc jackson the two davis and Rick. Ray defense has also improved a lot as well not that he is a good defender at all but he is at least average.

would be very difficult to find 2 players in any league who were this similar. these guys were a mirror image of each other.

that said , i think reggie was a better player

If you replaced soft ass Ray Allen with Reggie on that Pacers team and against the competition and the Pacers had year in and out in the playoffs, Ray would have never even got them out of the 1st or possibly not even to the play offs.

As far as your comment that if he played for a team that required to carry more of an offensive load, thats just ignorant. Ray has been placed in situation where he was "the man" and "go to guy" and he tanked. Yes he has one of the most beautiful strokes in the game and going to pass Reggie's #s, the intangibles and in the clutch spots Reggie had, just doesn't even compare.
