I have always liked Ricky.
Never been in trouble with the law. The problem was/is that people think if your life doesn't revolve around the sport you play, you are some sort of A hole.

Seems like he has a great heart and has been through a lot. Most people in his shoes would have just continued to be miserable and pretended to be happy while they enjoyed the temporary high that money and fame can get you. I wasn't quite clear what they said about his future plans.....did he say he's going to go to medical school and be a doctor? I hope he finds peace.

I havent seen the doc and Im sure its decent but is Ricky Williams really worthy of a doc? Hes had a few good years in the NFL and hasnt been a starter since 2003 besides injury. I'm sure he is a fascinating guy but he has pretty much been a backup for almost a decade now. His time in NO was disappointing and then with Miami in '02 was really his only big year, look it up..
He had a good year this year but still a lot of that was vs terrible run D's and he was a backup until Brown got hurt. Besides that, '02 is really his only top 5 back type year in the NFL.

Ricky Williams knows Earl Campbell and has seen the life Earl now lives and that is in a wheel chair and can bearly walk. Ricky never wants to end up like that and you can't blame him as Football just isn't worth it to him or anyone else who doesn't put money first and everything else second.
