Anyone watch this.

Seems like an alight guy, little lost, but seems to be getting his shit together. He made plenty of sense to me, did what he needed to do to get spirtually fit.

I have always liked Ricky.

Never been in trouble with the law. The problem was/is that people think if your life doesn't revolve around the sport you play, you are some sort of A hole.

To all those dipshits that want to play in the NFL and complain how he could give up all that money, then you should have made it to the show, if not STFU.

I liked how he said when he signed his first contract he wanted to EARN the money before getting it.

Money is nothing to this guy, I like his views

Anyway you can catch it after it aired? Like others have said I like the guy people should look at their views and ask why they really are that way.

A buddy of mine who does humane education work in FL met him recently, and the thing he said that stuck out to me was "Ricky seemed like he just wants to be done with this" - not that he wants to be done with life, but that he has a feeling of a "higher calling"

It will be on ESPN about 30 more times. Unfortunately I don't know the exact times, but I know they replay those shows over and over and over.

Ok, in all seriousness it looks like it's on again on ESPN2 at 4:30 PST this Thursday.

Ricky is a class act who just has some problems, my favorite player in the NFL personally.

Seems like he has a great heart and has been through a lot. Most people in his shoes would have just continued to be miserable and pretended to be happy while they enjoyed the temporary high that money and fame can get you. I wasn't quite clear what they said about his future plans.....did he say he's going to go to medical school and be a doctor? I hope he finds peace.

I think it's pretty shitty that people like Joe Theisman called him a disgrace to humanity. The world is so judgmental.

I havent seen the doc and Im sure its decent but is Ricky Williams really worthy of a doc? Hes had a few good years in the NFL and hasnt been a starter since 2003 besides injury. I'm sure he is a fascinating guy but he has pretty much been a backup for almost a decade now. His time in NO was disappointing and then with Miami in '02 was really his only big year, look it up..

He had a good year this year but still a lot of that was vs terrible run D's and he was a backup until Brown got hurt. Besides that, '02 is really his only top 5 back type year in the NFL.

I didn't say he wasn't an interesting person. Just said I'm surprised someone who has had such an average NFL career would warrant an ESPN documentary...

Ricky Williams knows Earl Campbell and has seen the life Earl now lives and that is in a wheel chair and can bearly walk. Ricky never wants to end up like that and you can't blame him as Football just isn't worth it to him or anyone else who doesn't put money first and everything else second.

The only problem I have with Ricky is him having children and not even wanting to be in their lives. That is some sick shit and makes everything he says questionable.

He is lost for sure. That's about the size of it and i like Ricky because he really doesn't care if he has 1 dollar! Life isn't worth perverting just because humans love money and not life.

Money is a perverted way to live and Ricky sees this. But having children and not even wanting to see them is fucked up.

And did I say that Ricky Williams is 1 of the top 10 greatest running backs in history if he wanted to be that.

There are very few running backs as good as him EVER!

His kids are with him now, other than the one that lives in HI.

I hope that's true. I really do!

The most important thing in this life is having children and then PROTECTING them until they are old enough to take care of themselves.

Nothing is more important. NOTHING!
