I've done that, and more. A bicycle or scooter is a pretty good way to to get around the strip, if you live there, but most locals avoid the strip.

tried to head south on the west side of the strip Starting at (Fremont and LV Blvd), getting a drink at every casino along the way ( goal being Tropicana Ave), then turn around, and go North. Silver mining along the way. Didn't make it !

First time in Vegas I was staying at Stupak's Vegas World and I didn't realize how far it was. Made it pretty quickly though. It was hot as balls out.

we started to walk it back in 2003. I think we went as far as some casino that has a roller coaster and then got a cab (we were walking towards downtown).

Before Don Best I used to walk from the Sahara to the Hacienda AND back and write down every sports books lines/odds.

Then I would make my bets.
