Playoff hockey is next to nfl as far as my favorite sport to watch. The last 10 mins of that game was intense. Now my bruins get home ice advantage with Savard coming back, unreal.

Im stunned....I bet the Caps.......no guts with this team.....just a blatant choke job....they said it best on versus.....the team is built for the regular season and not the playoffs....reminds me of the Wings of the mid 90's....just need some more grinders.......makes the regular season look meaningless...no wonder why I dont start watching hockey till April.....Kudos to the Habs....clear path for the Pens now......

Isn't this one of the biggest choke jobs in sports history. I know hockey is a little different because one hot goalie can make all the difference. But the Caps were up 3-1 in the series.

wash was 6-1 before the series started...there's a thread in nhl forum asking what the price was ahead 3-1 and it had to be in the 75/100-1 range IMO...

i know 1 thing....the eastern conf is up for grabs....

never thought id root for the Habs to win a game7 in the playoffs...but thanks!! B's have home ice vs Philly!!

Since the NHL went to the current playoff format, #8 seeds have won nine of 32 series against #1 seeds; 1 vs. 8 is not automatic as it is in the NBA.
