Offering my services to TheRX or anyone willing to sponsor my tourney buy-in,travel,hotel,food.
I will do my best to win this thing while advertising for your company by wearing your companies gear.A multi-sponsorship deal can be worked out as well if multiple parties agree.Great opportunity to advertise to a targeted audience with the utmost class and professionalism.PM me if interested.

are you giving anything back to the sponsors if you win or just advertising?

if just adv, then this is for Rx, and books/poker rooms.....if you are talking staking then posters can invest as well....

Yes, I was thinking more along the lines of advertising in exchange for sponsorship. However ,I'm up for whatever works the best.Staking would be a feasible option as well. The terms can all be discussed, worked out,and agreed upon by the parties involved.

Also,This doesn't necessarily have to be the WSOP Main Event. The exposure is much better at that event though,as far as advertising purposes go.

What if a company said "hey, to be worth or while you must make it to day 3 or else you pay." What would you say to that?

Im am also looking for a deal to play numerous events at the WSOP. Looking to play in more events besides the Main Event. Can wear a shirt if needed. Willing to give a good piece of the action. Ive done well in a few big events on the WPT but lost my deal with a backer. Wasnt due to winning or losing but personal problems. Can discuss all terms via email if anyone is interested. Companies also welcomed to discuss. Not going to post personal info on site for obvious reasons but anything can be discussed via phone or email
Thanks

I used to post on site awhile back but lost my id so created a new one

Sorry but i need to call bullshit on this post. can the people of this forum confirm confirmation with IP addresses... or is this guy just trying to be slick and take someone elses idea?

can any mod help us out and match his ip address to an account that ""He lost his id" too.

Thank you. just trying to keep posts real.

A sponsor T-Shirt on a poker player nobody knows is not worth the $10,000 investment, IMO, especially if you bounce out of the tournament early.

If you truly want to have your way paid and get some people to back you, you've gotta offer a percentage of your winnings. That way, your investors have a rooting interest in watching you succeed and do well.

I think that would be fun for all parties involved, and far more beneficial. I mean, if you won $10 million, you wouldn't gladly offer up a million of that to people who paid your tourney?

Let's not get greedy.

:lolBIG:

Good luck to you, though. :toast:

Thanks Daffy. You are right. The sponsor(s)/backer(s) and I could agree on my share of the winnings and their share. That sounds like a great idea to me.

sponsorships

stakers/investors putting up travel, food, hotel is pretty rare. Best you could hope for is someone to put up the $10,000 and you play for 15-30%, maybe a bit more if you are doing a lot of advertising I guess. I offered a couple companies $7/hour while I am in a WSOP tourney to wear their patch. Both sounded interested initially, but I haven't heard back since. One was the Rx.

If you have a lot of poker history(documentable) with live mtts/online mtts, then you can possibly sell pieces at chipmeup or 2p2, though you would need to be vouched for to sell on 2p2 and I don't really know how chipmeup handles that part of it.
