Another chalk play that I gotta go with. I just don't see the
O's winning a series against the Yanks when the final out is recorded. This one maybe a close one, but a winner IMO.

yankees dont hit pitchers they havent seen before.. matusz is a nice young SP, he went 7.1 innings 1 ER last year against the yanks in a dominant outing. yanks this year have 3 new lefties in their lineup grandy, johnson, gardner. i am as big of a yankees fan as there is, but i wouldnt go all in on this game......

kinda doesnt make sense. If they never seen the pitcher before then how he throw 7.1 innings and 1er on them last year? Dont think 3 guys that never faced him supposively would be that big of a influence in dominanance.

One article I read today said the Home Plate Umpire for tonights game has a reputation for having a "Wide" stike zone. The author indicated to expect the pitchers to get plenty of calls their way. Maybe an under 8 1/2.

i looked at that, and was shocked that hirschbeck has 10 unders l10 games, including 3 this season! both pitchers decent era and whip, burnett def more the gb pitcher than matusz. think its a decent wager for sure. sorry for hijacking your thread 2plays. gl.
