I went with Pierre Paul

Just not sure how the money and New York night life might get to him.

Paul is probably the logical choice for failure since defensive lineman are as a rule the biggest crapshoot position of the draft. Very few first round picks end up living up to their potential.

I see another Alex Smith here. Bad choice for the Rams, i would've traded down and picked up Tebow instead

I say Paul as well, from what i've seen of him it seems like he's a genetic freak who plays the game cause he's good at it not cause he likes it. Don't know a lot of players who truely excel at the game without a passion for it.

Picked Bryant. Mainly because with Witten, Austin and even Roy Williams all splitting catches Dez's numbers might not be that good. He will be down the totem pole and a low option to go to for the boys

You could be right. But I think Bryant has a ton of talent. The problems I see him running into is his penchant for saying and doing the wrong things, and hanging with the wrong people.

Any of them could be. Team, coach, system, injuries, work ethic....etc..

I think Alalau is the safest pick of the group. He is a beast. Was hoping he'd fall to NE at 22nd pick.

All of the others are super talented, but judge them in 2 to 3 years.

Jahvid Best has legit talent but he's playing for a team that can't run block so he's an okay choice. Bradford won't do well but it's not because of his skill. It's because he can't throw from his back. Tebow is not nearly as talented as Bradford but the Broncos are a little stronger as a team.

Whatever you've been smokin....lay off of it!

They could have gotten this guy in the 2nd round..or very late 1st! For the 10th pick? He is NOT "the safest pick".

Doesn't matter where he was drafted. Yes, Jax reached at 10, but he has the least chance of those listed of being a bust in my opinion. Thus the safest choice to not pick as a bust.

He wouldn't have made it past 22 with NE on clock.

I'm not sure how you think a trade down would do the Rams any good. And in what way does Bradford compare to Alex Smith when you have yet to see him play a down of pro football? As for Tebow, it wouldn't surprise me at all if he makes it in the NFL. Mainly because the kid has such a great attitude about the game. But the most obvious mistake people make in judging a player's talent and the idea that they'll make it in the NFL is the amount of college wins or championships they have in their career, and not the actual talent of the player himself. When I start seeing these winning college QB's drop out of the NFL like flies every year, I start to realize more and more how the college game is a TEAM sport when it comes to winning games. And not just about the QB. As for Bradford, nothing is set in stone. And OU doesn't exactly run the kind of offense that translates well to the NFL. One thing Bradford will have to relearn is how to actually be able to look down the field and read a defense without constantly looking over to the sidelines for his plays like he did when he was at OU. Eventually, he'll have to stop depending on his coaches, and start trusting his own judegement. I have quite a bit of confidence that Bradford will adjust to the pro game. i just hope he's not thrown to the wolves too early.

Tebow for sure.. Horrendous 1st round pick, good kid to have in the locker room.. Thats it..

Tebow stats will look something like this..

2/9 16 YDS 0 TDs 1 INT
4/13 35 YDS 0 TDs 0 INT

Seriously. Whenever they talk about the suspension they act like it was for killing someone.
