I like Tebow as a player and would burn every bible on the planet if it was possible.

The bible crap is probably costing him more fans, but from the looks of it he will become as popular as any player in the NFL soon.

He already set the record for jersey sales for rookies after the draft. Denver is already getting something for that draft choice.

Why hate the guy because of a tv station? The guy won two national championships and a heisman, I think he deserves some credit. I remember espn getting on their knees everytime usc was brought up.

I don't know, but 90% of the haters hate him because of his faith. He's unashamed of his Savior, and people don't like his boldness. How else could anyone hate the kid? He's all class, and an alltime cfb legend.

there you go :103631605

I'm no bible thumper, and I'm a Gator Hater, but I want to see the kid succeed. He seems like a great kid, how can you root against that?

I think he has the intangibles to exceed the expectations, especially those of the shallow haters.

Hard to really respect him when he's dumb enough to fall hook line and sinker for that nonsense. Then again a lot of people are

Exactly.

I would say 25-50% are fans because of his faith. Probably no different than others. As least he is a positive role model - until he messes up. The same media who built him up will be the ones tearing him down.

I'm no Bible Fan...BUT Come on Tebow is not only 100% CLASS, but is an ALL-Time CFB greatest players!

I don't see how anyone could dislike him?? What would be one's beef?? that he believes in God?

Obviously he did EVERYTHING on the CFB level that one could ask

I agree completely. Best player, humble, all about the team, and gives 100%. Straight up winner.

I don't dislike him, but I don't believe in his ability to succeed at the next level. Just one of those classic college star talents that doesn't translate at the next level. Sports world is filled with them, especially in football.

Happen to think he'll perform just fine in the NFL. I mean, shit man, He's got the mindset to be the NFL spokesman as the direction the NFL is trying to progess to. A clean image. Tebow is gonna be a star. MAYBE. If he suffers another concussion early, then forget it. Great college star, that's it. NFL is wierd. Great college stars don't always translate into great NFL stars.

To me, Tebow is a curiosity worth following, more than a player I like or dislike. One of the very best players in NCAA history, then a lot of people saying he was worth no more than a third round pick. I'm glad he received the bulk of the draft coverage. More interesting than who will the Rams pick

I don't care about his religion, but he carries it too far. To the point where I actually like him because it comes across as such a parody of religious followers. If he does fuck up with a DUI or affair, that will be funny
