therefore it falls on me to find a cat/kitten, and I'm failing. They are there, but the peeps are flaky ( Craigslist).
I'll pretty much take any kitten within 50 miles, will take an older cat, like 1year old, if fixed.

Honestly a few years ago my g/f at the time wanted a cat, so I figured I'd go down and pick one up from the SPCA shelter for animals nearby, thinking I was doing the right thing.
They handed me a stack of forms and told me it would be $150.00. I said "I kind of just figured you had like a bin of kittens back there and I could just take one."
She wasn't impressed with that and needless to say I was not approved to re-home one of their kittens.

I got the current kitty (Cooter) some 5-6 years ago from a local no-kill shelter, had to pay like $75-100+ for her, mostly refunded with proof of being spayed/neutered...later on.
This place wanted way more info from me, than the state of Nevada, when I got married.
I kind of want to just present the daughter with a kitten, since she wants the old 12 lb fat cat
I can see some red tape.....don't want somebody getting free kittens to feed their python.

Fucking vet girl was like winking at at me, when returning the cat from spaying.....Here's your Cooter back !....almost implying I fuck the cat ? It took me 6 more months to get that Cooter is pussy. :toast:
