Konerko had a solo homer off Dustin Nippert in the eighth and a two-run blast off Doug Mathis in the ninth, building the White Sox lead to 7-3. The Rangers came back with two in the bottom of the ninth, but Bobby Jenks was able to retire Joaquin Arias to end the threat. The 10-homer month is the first for Konerko since June 2004. He has just 17 RBI to go with all of the longballs, but that's more the fault of his teammates than his own.
