not I said the blind man. Davis had his best start of the year last outing and Leblanc is still an unknown, 11 innings pitched should not have him at this price. Should be even money IMO. SD hitting .189 against lefties in their last 10 games. If Davis can limit his walks per innings he can be effective and Brewers bats should take care of things.

Well the thing with the Brewers is that we are lucky if we get 4 innings out of a starter. Then we rely on our bullpen so if Hawkins doesn't blow it then we have Hoffman to blow it. After yesterday's game I think all of our relievers will be gassed and probably won't show up. We might even leave Hoffman in San Diego where he came from.

Davis usually gives up a bomb in the first inning so the "will there be a run scored in the first inning" is usually a YES when he's in.

that's another reason I am more comfortable backing him here. In Petco he can afford a few more mistakes than usual with the huge ball park.

Sumbitch. Let's hope both teams lay an egg in the first inning. I just put a bet in saying "no run in the first inning".

perfect example in 1st inning. Gonzalez got hold off a ball opposite field that would have been out in 8/10 ball parks.

Wheeew...that was close. Runners on first and second with no outs and can't score. That's the madres I know. @):)
