Money lines that is. Generally I buy back when I overbet.

Overbetting, or betting what you are not comfortable with will get you EVERY time. May not get ya in the begining, but it will rear it's ugly head sooner or later.

Based on that, buying back is absolutely not profitable. The only thing is that overbetting is even more of a liability

Buying back is profitable when the line moves enough or if you were on the wrong side for whatever reason. Otherwise, over time it is just a way of ensuring less losses than what you will see from overbetting. Stopping that from happening in the first place is the correct choice

Buying back is just admitting a mistake. As long as you don't do it alot, then no harm no foul.
