^ yea ... ponies = horse racing. Kentucky Derby is my favorite thing to bet out of everything. Just a good 2 minute thrill. Plus I go there, so I get to shout and scream and act like they can hear me. lol

I like a lot of horses ... I am still trying to narrow them down. I will probably play 1-2 across the board and 1-2 trifectas with these horses:

Super Saver
Jackson Bend
Awesome Act
American Lion
Dublin
Conveyance
Stately Victor
Noble's Promise
Lookin at Lucky (can't leave him out of tri's)

Leaving Sydney's Candy out ... so if he gets in ... it will ruin my day. You have to take some risks when betting the derby. High risk = big payoff

Try to stay dry at Churchill.. it's gonna be nasty tomorrow. 1-2 inches of rain is not a good thing. Kids in the infield will not be having any fun, until their 15th mint julep.

One more reason to love you (in a friendly kind of way). I love the horses and play them every day.

Super Saver has a big shot in the Derby. Like many of the others you mentioned and think American Lion has a good shot to hit the board at a very square price. GL and have a great time.

What do you think of Slowey v. Cleveland at even $. Carmona's looking good again, but the offenses are a total mismatch. Also would love your opinion on the under 9 in FL. Nolasco should shut down the Nats, but the Nats bullpen is for real. I got it at -120.

Re: the Derby, thegreek has a prop where you pick a horse to come in the Top 4. I got American Lion at +505 and Stately Victor at +685.

The Florida Derby he ran in was pretty weak ... and he hit as a long shot. I have found that horses that go into their final prep race as long shots (and hit in the money) don't do very well in the derby. Of course ... you never know on any given day. In his major race (Fountain of Youth) he ran against good opponents (10 field) and finished 5th. Just my thought oh Ice Box

If it's muddy ... I like Backtalk in that group as well. Might play him across the board. It's funny because when I try to narrow it down, I find other horses I like. Crazy! I'm sure I could find a reason to bet every one of them ... hard to pick (like usual)

Have a nice weekend, was at chruchhill once, not on a derby day and that place is huge. I remember parking in some guys front yard for like $5..LoL...when your done with your derby analysis would you mind posting your top 3?

History is against her but I think the fillie Devil May Care could maybe surprise some and Sidney's Candy could do the same from outside. Is the weather going to be as bad as they are sayin? If it is as bad I may have to stick with Lookin at Lucky on the post, good start will be key from 1 spot and will be in front of the messy track
