I've had Zenyatta as the best horse since the beginning. What excuses will the Rachel backers make now?

she was only 90%...the owner was already making excuses before the race started

just comical

Z would destroy her at a quarter (a real horse racing distance)

rachel has a giraffish build to her...i mean she's big too but not a powerhouse point given type build like Z......typically that's an accident waiting to happen....hopefully they smart and don't push her to the BC and shit....just pointless now....

She is clearly not the same horse right now. However to still compare Zenyatta's campaign to hers last year is comical & shows the lack of knowledge of some.

the 3yo males were total garbage last year...she caught a really bad crop of 3yo's that made her look better than she was....granted she did beat older in the woodward i suppose....barely....but that field was pretty weak too macho again and bullsbay aren't that great of horses....

They are both overrated. Rachel apparently more then Zenyatta.

oh they both great horses since they are filly's...

Z just the better horse overall though....and classic distances will be no issue for her....as i've said all along after a mile and 1/8th rachel will not be a great horse anymore

plus alot of people that knock Z say well it was on plastic most of her stuff

but plastic tends to a be a chaotic surface with alot of close finishes horses bunching up etc....

to not lose one race yet in her career says something regardless of what you think of the plastic stuff

exactly. She also ran against tired colts who were spent from the derby and came in agauably better rested. Jackson knew he got lucky and that's why he didn't run her again in the Belmont. .. And Jackson says he's all about sport, give me a break.

horse just has no business running in the belmont period

mile and 1/2 with this horse gimme a break she'd be gasping for air down the stretch

Z on the other hand can run all day long

So you are saying the horses she beat were overrated or garbage yet Z beat those same horses. So really that just makes no sense in saying Z is better. Until she travels & faces people legitimately for a whole campaign, she will be overrated.
