"We're five months away from free agency," Darek Braunecker told ESPN.com's Buster Olney, "so I think that's the most likely scenario at this point." Even if Lee does opt for free agency, we've got to believe the Mariners would make a serious attempt to keep the lefty.

Why would he return? Team can't even score a run.

Nobody reached 2nd base last night on him and they don't scratch a runner home for him.

funny how the player and his agent are griping about an "extension" and their multi million dollar pitcher has made all of ONE START for the team...

wonder if he'll give Seattle some of that money back, if he gets injured again?

Maybe he should go out there and earn his money, THEN SEE if Seatle rewards him for it.....
