i have a 4 teamer with:

Yankees RL -- W
Cards -- winning 6-2 bottom of 9
Twins RL -- winning 8-3 and still hitting bottom of 5
Rangers -- starts in 20 minutes

** if these scores should hold up, should i hedge this??
** $100 parlay to win $2000 is the bet i have...

I would go 1000, but monroe is right, at least 500.

Betting shouldn't be about action or hitting long shots, it is strictly about increasing bankroll.

You have a chance to get a good profit out of this, don't mess it up.

good shit man, I'd def hedge it, how much you hedge it depends how much confidence you have in Tex winning, but I'd probably guarantee myself $5OO

Ron Washington has to be the worst manager I have ever seen. Fransisco has been so brutal in every appearance he has made this year. Yet the cokehead manager continues to pitch him in the 8th and tonight the 9th.

One would think his 7+ era would be enough to bench his ass.

I am baffled and sorry for Texas backers whenever he pitches.

no doubt.. i was doing some other stuff and didn't realize harden came out in the 8th.. francisco is garbage, though.. i hate all of this shit about pitch count, pitch count.. these guys train all year long to get their stamina to go long innings and deep into games.. he couldn't have had that many pitches either by throwing a four hitter.. he had struck out like 10 or so too, just absolutely dealing and then you have to sweat the 9th inning because francisco must be washington's coke connection..

Never hedge parlays like these. That last bet you were getting 20 to 1 on a +130 line. In other words, a team that had around a 43.5% (100/230) chance of winning and were getting the payout odds of an event that should only occur 4.8% (100/2100) of the time.

You'd make way more money long-term letting it ride.

I dont agree with this logic.

I had a 4 teamer $25 to make $1340
Cards -1.5
Minny -1.5
Oakland -1.5
Celts +250

Hedged with Texas for $250 +1.5

Really glad I did.

IrishTim is correct. Shouldn't hedge unless it's a life changing amount of money. And while $2000 is quite a lot, it's not life-changing. Just what I've heard. Hind-sight is 20/20, but you would have won more had you let it ride!

Would you guys be saying this if Texas lost?

Great hedge pilot dont listen to them. They are the kind of people that lose on the last leg cause they dont hedge and by the time they do win 1 without hedging they just won their money back from all the previous losing tickets. Gurantee yourself a profit when can be. yes it sucks Texas still won. But think how you feel right now if they lost. Youd be wishing you had that $500 in your account right now. You here to win money. If you can gurantee yourself a profit from the books (thats hard enough to win from anyways) you do it. Life changing? If he wanted to play for life changing money he go play the mega millions. Doubt anybody even gets close to hitting a parlay thats Life changing.
