I hate people that let their dogs roam, I should be able to shoot a loose roaming dog, attacking me.

Now , do I have to carry a pistol to protect myself from dogs ?

Me neither. It's a fictional story in today's time, but was written based on a dog in Japan in the 1920's. Unreal story.

I lived near Charleston and Decatur for a about a year, about a mile ESE of AZ Charlie's, I liked to walk there, fucking loose dogs on my butt, do I need a hand gun or a golf club to protect myself walking to the casino ?

I'd say no problem , if I had to carry a pistol, and shot your loose feral dog. so I can walk the mile to the casino.

I only was attacked by a cat once. Some feral cat had kittens in the backyard of a house I lived at near Eastern and Washington ( LV). like behind some sheet plywood resting against a fence.

I got a hold of a kitten, and that mother cat probably 5 lbs, had no problem of jumping my back to release her baby. 5lb feral cat beat the shit out of a 200 lb man, in like 10 seconds. Worst beat down by a female ever for me !
