did carl pavano miss a start this week?

He was scheduled for 2 starts this week but now I only see him for 1?

Yes, He missed his start with neck stiffness.... his last start was last thursday, and he is scheduled to pitch this thursday...so what they did was they bumped the rotation up one day early for blackburn and slowey and the pavano will pitch this Thursday barring more agitation to his neck.... hope that helps

Thank I checked about 10 different sites and they had no info on pavano missing his start in the rotation thanx!

Twins SP Carl Pavano (3-2) allowed three runs -- two earned -- on seven hits over eight innings Thursday as he pitched a complete-game loss against the Tigers despite a stiff neck. "It was a little sore this morning and then I aggravated it in the fourth or fifth inning, but I just had to pitch through it," he said. "I dealt with this a couple times last year, and it doesn't keep me from pitching, but I'd like to get rid of it."
