I wonder how the yankees feel about this now?

Remember the trade with the Tigers?

Granderson is now on the DL and was hittin only like .230

Austin Jackson for the tigers is on track to be rookie of the year.. He leads the entire MLB in batting average at .377 and also leads the entire MLB in hits at 43 of them..

And Phil Coke has been a beast out of that tiger bullpen..

Great trade for the tigers..

Wrong.........Jackson leads the league in Ks and its been 1 month this year..you really wanna analyze this trade after 1 month?

jackson is a nice player, real good player but granderson got in a little slump to bring down his avg a lot! also granderson is a proven all star who lead the league in Extra base hits 2 years ago, 30HR power, excellent fielder... its been 1 month relax buddy

and phil coke has been a beast out of the BP? he has been brutally bad when i seen him pitch.... he gained about 30 pounds

you want to talk about this trade, post this in october when granderson has 30hrs and is hitting 280 with 30 steals..... you cant talk about a trade a month into the year, also its not grandersons fault that he is on the DL he pulled a groin

A hurt Granderson that is currently hitting around .230 in the long run is going to pay off in spades because basicly they picked up Granderson to replace Melke (who currently is in your Brave outfield, sucking the life out of your team)

Phil Coke is a nice reliever, but the Yankees relief corp is deep enough to make Coke became expediable.

I like Gardner in the outfield better than Jackson.

I am a Yankee fan, and to recap, I like Granderson better than Melke, and I like Gardner better than Jackson, that's the way this Yankee fan looks at the picture you painted.

Using the fact he is a former all star doesn't exactly mean a whole lot.

Granderson had a great 07 -Led the league in 3B and .913 OPS
He dropped some in 08 - bound to happen after a great season.
09 is the high end of about the best you can expect for Granderson during his Yankees career. Both his OBP and SLG have dipped the past 3 seasons.

Congrats to Jackson for having a great start to his mlb career, but let's see if the pitchers make adjustments to what they are throwing his way.

I was waiting for my car to get repaired this morning and the dealership had the TV on - Martha Stewart ugh! Guess who was scheduled to be the guest cooking w/Martha? Curtis Granderson! Unfortunately he was under the weather and could only phone in.

Some of yall here don't know much about Curtis Granderson.. i followed this kid all the way from AAA Toledo to the pros.

He can't hit lefties for shit and he strikes out a lot.. The yankees would have loved to keep their #1 prospect Austin Jackson but they wanted someone who had experience and could come in right away..

They didn't have the time for Jackson but Detroit did.. Look at the stats.. This kid leads the entire MLB in batting and hits and he's a leadoff hitter!!!! Add to that he's just a rookie.. This kid will be better than granderson ever will be.. The only difference between granderson and jackson right now is granderson is gonna hit more home runs.. Just wait until jackson get's his power going though.. You all can hate on the kid like haters do.. but the numbers don't lie..

How's that DL lookin granderson? How about that .230 average?? Missing Phil Coke yet?? You will

You cant even evaluate yankee trades because of the fact so many guys cant play in NY.

Look at Vasquez, he sucks in NY but is an ace in atlanta.

Coke sucked with the yankees as did kennedy.
