Jack has a storied career berating officials. I remember one time when he was berating an official and that official gave him the evil eye. The announcers said that the wrath of the entire L.A. area would come down on the official if he kicked Jack out of Staples.

Always have wondered if he bets on the Laker games. His passion seems to be a bit too much over the top, particularly during the regular season. What you guys think?

I would think that is close to impossible. I mean how much would he have to bet to make it worth it and get a rush out of it?

Even 10 dimes would be like a penny for most people. It just wouldn't make sense

no my guess is he is strictly in for the rush... cary grant used to go to the racetrack usually hollywood park and bet $2 on a horse. after it was over he would go to the fence and put on a show about how he was cursed, his bet losing.

money is not really required for the moment, unless you have none lol.

While I fully understand your reasoning, why then do people like Michael Jordan, Phil Mickelson, Charles Barkley and others who make good incomes still find the need to gamble. Even though they have all the money they need, particularly Jordan, he still needs to feel the rush in gambling. I think it is the need to compete. Why not Jack?

I have an agent friend (in L.A.) that has a lot of actors on his sheets and puts them into 1 of the bigger off-shore books.

From what I heard Jack used to bet a lot on the Lakers and other sports but after he became super rich he stopped betting. He stopped a long time ago from what I heard.

Mickelson quit because he didn't want people to get the wrong Idea.

Jordan, Barkley, Woods, and a lot of others bet big between themselves and bet big at Casinos. They can bet huge amounts over time and I'm sure it is a rush for them. They can win or lose a million at any time. That is a rush for even them.

Jack I'm pretty sure doesn't bet anymore, but I really wouldn't know for sure.
