Halladay got into trouble early thanks to some fluky plays on the infield, but is about as good as it gets when it comes to damage control. He fanned nine batters and walked three while allowing seven hits. The workhorse holds a 1.45 ERA and has to be among the favorites for the National League Cy Young Award. Of course, it's pretty early for that kind of talk.
