Odds of hitting 11 points in Craps?

Just got back from a trip to Vegas.

My sister's 1st time rolling craps, rolls for about 20-25 mins hitting 11 points, amazing.

Pit and several dealers were being complete ass' towards the end of the roll.

Anyone know the odds? I mean, hell, she would roll a 10,and bam come right back with it 2-3 rolls later. I just wish she would have shot a little more between points.:drink:

once a point is established, the odds are about 40.61% that the point will be made... So I guess it'd be (40.61)^11? So like, .0049541%. It'd be slightly less likely if you took into account that first roll that established the point.

Were you tipping? Why would a dealer be an asshole in this instance? That's why people play and hang around the game, to see stuff like this once in a blue moon when it happens. Hell, for that matter, why would a pit boss be an ass? It's not their money that is being lost.

but I just can't fade a roller, except don't players. When some jerk that went right out 3 or 4 times in a row picks up the dice again, it's a good time to hit the restroom.

I tip afterwards on craps. I was throwing some hardways for them, but call me superstious but I hate tipping during a good roll.

I always OVER tip, but this asshole didn't get a dime from me after the roll. My sister threw them a few buck here and there, she is a $5-$10 bettor, so didn't make much and the few she tipped was plenty for her.

Not sure what others were tipping. I am use to the 10 times max odds at least on craps, but they had 3.4.5 times odds or something. I asked the dealer a couple times what my made odds were, the table was freaking CRAZY and he took the limit sign and threw it in front of me and said here, read it.

I was like fuck you buddy.

Anyways, after that, nada came in tips from me and shortly after she crapped out.

I will say the table was flat out nuts, crazy ass busy game when you get everyone in the casion trying to jump in on a hot roll.
