not gonna go into to much detail here but bottom line is Jake Peavy is back. He made a comment before 2 starts ago that he had felt he had finally got his mechanics corrected and that the ball was coming out of his hand better than ever n was the best stuff he has ever had. Since than made a start getting rocked for 5 runs in the 1st, than retiring something like 14-17 straight settling in and not letting up another run. His next start he went 7 score less scattering 4 hits. Chicago is in a bad way right now and Peavy is just the warrior they need on the mound.
As far as Toronto, don't believe they are for real and most likely a mirage just like last year. Cecil is a nice young arm and has some impressive stats but could be running into a buzz saw today, facing an aggrivated Sox team after last night.
