Want to start posting some of my picks as I want to take the next step in my handicapping. I have been tracking on paper some notes on some teams that I have a good read for as we are about six weeks into the long season.

Since this is my first time documenting myself on a website so I will take it slow until I can get a feel for the whole “chase system.” Goal for doing this would be around +10-15 Units, but of course, it is easier said than done.

Teams I will mostly be chasing…Twins, Reds, Rays, D-Backs, Padres, Blue Jays

If anyone has any input on a certain games/series feel free as I am trying to learn from everybody..

0.3* REDS -105 for MONDAY
Bronson Arroyo, RHP (1-2, 6.14 ERA, 26K) vs. Ross Ohlendorf, RHP (0-0, 3.60 ERA, 1 K)
Johnny Cueto, RHP (1-1, 5.18 ERA, 25 K) vs. Charlie Morton, RHP (1-5, 10.30 ERA, 23 K)
Homer Bailey, RHP (0-2, 7.24 ERA, 30 K) vs. Zach Duke, LHP (2-3, 5.13 ERA, 24 K)

Not quite the pitchers you would want to chase with, but this is more of a fade Pittsburgh as I feel they are quite terrible and figure they would be able to make me some coin if I went against them.

I have bet the Reds earlier this year a few times and they have been good to me. Hopefully they can keep it going...

0.3* DODGERS -118 for MONDAY
Chad Billingsley, RHP (2-2, 5.06 ERA, 26 K) vs. Rodrigo Lopez, RHP (1-1, 4.14 ERA, 23 K)
NOT LISTED vs. Dan Haren, RHP (4-1, 4.04 ERA, 50 K)
Hiroki Kuroda (3-1, 2.70 ERA, 28) vs. Edwin Jackson, RHP (1-4, 7.32 ERA, 24 K)

Don't wanna always chase with high ML, but I feel the Dodgers will be priced somewhat low and like the Dodgers to get a victory with Billingsley and Kuroda against Diamondbacks. Dodgers have got a good batting average and know they need to get some wins against the divisional foe.

0.3* ROYALS -106 for TUESDAY

Not a real fan of Cleveland...don't think they are very good. Hoping Royals can come and get one.

0.3* PADRES +130 for TUESDAY

I think the Padres are for real this year out West and feel like we will be able to get at least one since they won't have to face Lincicum, but do face Zito and Cain. Don't think the Giants are going to be able to score enough to keep San Diego away.

0.618* ROYALS -103 for WEDNESDAY

Carmona vs Davies...feel good being on the other side of Carmona as he has been a gas can in the past..1-1 with a 4.12 ERA the past 3 starts.

Davies has a 1-0, 2.25 ERA at home
