that marlins team is trash right now......robertson is respectable.....there offense is horrific......robertson wont win it for u, but should keep u in the game.....u will be amazed at how bad fla offense is right now....o, and if john baker and his 2 for his last 37 are up in key spots as he was today, just walk away from your tv or computer........

seriously amazed me today with bases loaded and zero out, down 1 run in the 8th against the nationals ,and 456 hitters up what is passing for a rally these days. 1 run then lose next inning..uggla and baker and some right fielder named petersen that will make u wanna puke

So is Ted Lilly his first handful of starts a year. I'm loving +140 here

not saying you are wrong on the marlins, but ted lilly has 3 starts this year and 1 was vs the dbacks with the wind blowing out 25mph i would throw that start out. lilly is clearly the better pitcher in this matchup. with that begin said imo this is marlins or nothing. no way i could back the scrubs at -160. they could make robertson look like a 20 game winner

Definately agree with you about the Arizona game. The Cubs are my favorite team and I watch every game. His first start looked good on paper but he actually got away with leaving lots of pitches up. His 2nd start was the Arizona game (I hit the over). His 3rd start was a loss to the Pirates. His stuff his not very sharp right now. He has started slow the last 3 years. Not saying it's a sure thing, it never is, but I like the value

I almost made the Braves a play for me. I think they are in a good spot today. Good luck

I like Florida here, just because of the nice payout. Cubs have been struggling lately too. Should be an interesting game. If the payout was closer to +110, he probably wouldnt be taking this.

sherwood's comments on Flor vs Cubs:

"Ted Lilly had off-season arthroscopic shoulder and knee surgeries and thus far, he’s shown he has not fully recovered or at least he’s lost something. He’s already allowed four bombs in 17 innings and his one start at home was a complete disaster. He’s never had good numbers against the Marlins and that’s when he appeared a lot sharper than he does right now. Lilly has allowed 10 runs in 17 innings or work and let’s not ignore who he pitches for. The Cubbies are one of the most unappealing big favorites in the league. They lose more than they win, they’re pen is a mess, Lou Pinella doesn’t know whether he’s coming or going and they’ve lost five of its last six games to Pittsburgh and Cincinnati. The Marlins aren’t going much better but they’ve lost five of six to San Fran and Washington and they’re not laying 3/2. They’ve also been unlucky, as they’re losing by a run or two while the Cubbies are frequently getting slaughtered. In fact, three of the Cubs last six losses were by scores of 13-5, 11-1 and 14-7. Nate Robertson is a roll of the dice but he’s had four decent outings that include a game Philadelphia in which he did not allow a run and pitched into the seventh inning and he and the Marlins are definitely worth a play in this spot at this price. Play: Florida +1.41 (Risking 2 units)."

I don't care how bad Florida is right now, anyone who lays odds with the Cubs deserves to lose their money. Cubs have lost 2 series to Cincy, and also lost series to Pitt, Houston, and Wash.
