Overall: 83-59
(+46.7 units)

1* 35-28
2* 35-27
3* 11-3
4* 1-1
5* 1-0

Got my big play yesterday, but missed all the small ones. Oh well. Hopefully today's card is not to confusing ... I just feel spreading the money around on the RL and ML's.

2* Cardinals RL -105 (2.1 to win 2)
2* Rays -110 (2.2 to win 2)

2* Jays

ML +150 (1.2 to win 1.8)
RL -130 (.8 to win .62)

2* Rangers
ML -168 (1.25 to win .74)
RL +120 (.75 to win .9)

2* Phillies
ML -170 (.75 to win .44)
RL even (1.25 to win 1.25)

I had a little mistake on the Phillies game ... here is the correct version. Sorry about that.

2* Phillies RL -110
ML -170 (1.25 to win .74)
RL even (.75 to win .75)

I will post for the preakness. I like the Cards RL more than the Rays (but not by much).

it basically gives you a -1 run line instead of a -1.5

Look at this game:
2* Rangers
ML -168 (1.25 to win .74)
RL +120 (.75 to win .9)

If the Rangers win by 1 run ... I basically break even ... where as if I played the Rangers only on the RL ... I would have lost 2 units (and I didn't want to play a whole 2 units on the Rangers at the price of -168)

It basically gives me a little insurance on that .5 aspect of the -1.5 line.

:103631605 Thanks for the explanation... Is there an exact formula of how to split the ML and RL units or are you just doing trial and error?

This is the official way to get the -1 runline. My numbers are a little different than this ... but this will give you the idea.

Example:
ML = -160
RL = +120

Take 100/160 = 0.63
take the 0.63 and add 1 = 1.63
then take the 1.63 and divide it again.. 100/1.63 = 61.34

61.34 is what you are going to risk on the ML
Whatever the payout of that, you take and risk it on the RL
and that's how you get the -1 RL

well crap ... just realized I misposted the Jays. The units should be swapped in the RL and ML. My bad!
It should be:

2* Jays
ML +150 (.8 to win 1.2)
RL -130 (1.2 to win .92)

For tracking purposes ... re-posting the correct plays:

2* Cardinals RL -105 (2.1 to win 2)
2* Rays -110 (2.2 to win 2)

2* Jays
ML +150 (.8 to win 1.2)
RL -130 (1.2 to win .92)

2* Rangers
ML -168 (1.25 to win .74)
RL +120 (.75 to win .9)

2* Phillies RL -110
ML -170 (1.25 to win .74)
RL even (.75 to win .75)

Hey Bragg .. I don't if this is an error but... Why would the jay's ML be +150 and the RL at -130. Isn't it the other way around.
