I'm new here, but have been reading, following, & fading for the past few months. I haven't seen this posted elsewhere, so I thought I'd contribute the MLB chase system that I played last year, went undefeated & finished +40 units or so (the chase system, not every game). Granted, this could definitely lose eventually, so manage your bankroll efficiently & we'll see how this year goes.

In short, we're betting that a team is going to win at least one game in a 3 or 4 game series versus an opposing team that has swept them in their most recent series.

Sweep System Guidelines
1) Mark down any series where one team is swept by the opposing team
2) For the teams that were swept, mark the schedule for their upcoming series versus the same team that swept them previously
3) On the first day of the rematch between the two teams, make a bet for the team that was swept.
4) ALWAYS bet on the ML if the team you’re betting on is the favorite to win; ALWAYS bet on the RL if the team you’re betting on is the underdog
5) This is a martingale chase system, so manage your bankroll. If you lose Bet A, cover your losses & your unit to-be-won in Bet B. Should Bet B lose, cover your Bet A & B losses + your unit to-be-won in Bet C.

All in all, I'll post here when there are plays & you can follow or fade at will. These forums have helped me tremendously, so thanks for welcoming me.

Didn't get this thread started in time, but yesterday's (5/10) plays were:

Reds ML
Jays RL

So, first day's system record was 2-0.

Plays for 5/11
Orioles, RL - Game 1
Giants, ML - Game 1

No, 2-game series sweeps do not count. Only 3 or 4 game series sweeps.

Quick question so I understand clearly.
For example : The Mets Swept Atl in the 3 game series
Apr 23-25. The next series is a 2 game set. There
Would be no plays there but would u move to the
Next 3 game series or would that to game series
Void any plays in this spot. Thanks

That would void any plays since the following series is only 2 games. I may track these this year without bets, just to see. Any 2 game series puts us at a disadvantage due to only having 2 games to win, as opposed to 3-4.

Plays for 5/12
Orioles RL, Game 2 (B bet)
Giants ML, Game 2 (B bet)

The juice on the Orioles RL is pretty high, so I'll probably split some between the RL & ML. The system doesn't call for this exactly, but I usually just take my chances. If only the RL hits (still considered a system win), it likely covered my prior losses but didn't win the intended unit. Still, it's a pro/con analysis as if we win both, we win more & if we go to gm 3, there's not as much cash to chase. Each to his own as far as splitting RL/ML, but I do.

Back tracked all games and from my calculations the system
would be 4-0. Other 2 series sweeps were mil/pit and det/cle.
Pitt won after being sweep and so did cle.

Thanks for the research, man! Really appreciate you doing that. I guess we're getting started about 4 series too late, but let's win 'em from here!

For Socrates & any others tracking or researching this, there is an RPI guideline thrown in:

Only make an 'A' bet as long as the team that was swept previously has an RPI value of no less than .015 than the opposing team, AND the opposing team is not a top-2 RPI team.

Two game 2's tonight - let's get 'em.

Plays for 5/13
Giants ML, Game 3 (C bet)

Got 1 of the 2 yesterday. The system reaches a game 3 already - let's see if it proves itself.

Trying to understand everything.
Looking ahead, it looks like we are going to have 3 more
series sweep play starting on 5/14

Cubs vs Pit
Houston vs SFG
Seattle vs TB

Or are Houston and Seattle no good because of the RPI difference

Thankx

I hope the Giants act like Giants and get us a W. It's been some heavy juice to start off with. My fault though I played the O's small and SF BIG. So it's been a stressful chase.

Giants are major sucking - 1 hit the whole game. I'll have to up my units if we take a loss here.

Well, that does it. As soon as I start posting these plays, we lose one.

Updated record
7-1

The 7 include the 4 wins that Socrates back-tracked. I'll continue posting here just for the sake of tracking.
