I have but charges were dismissed. I was just a lowly ticket writer in an office in the US before the internet, when all bets were hand written. I am not ashamed of it like I am some kind of real criminal. Happened more than 20 years ago, I was just trying to make a weeks pay. Spent a couple of nights in county and got released without a finding. Played penuckle with some characters in an 8 man cel and slept. The guys in the cel got a kick out of some gambling stories I made up and told them...

Good guess, but nope...
Actually it's a pretty boring story.
In 1992 I got cited for speeding and not wearing my seat-belt.
In about 1999 I got pulled over and hand-cuffed right down the
street from my house. They claimed there was a warrant out for
my arrest for not paying the seat-belt ticket. Why I would have
paid the speeding ticket and not the seat-belt ticket is beyond me.
I didn't have records to prove otherwise.
I spent 2-3 hours in the slammer before my pregnant wife could
get there in a thunderstorm to bail me out.
You'd think they'd have the decency to send me a letter to let me
know about the warrant. Argh.
