These two pitchers squared off on against each other on 4/19/10 in San Diego with the Padres coming out on top 3-2. However, Cain is rounding into mid season form right now after his last two starts. If I were to play the game, which I'm not, I would look to the Under 7.

Too high of a price IMHO and playing on the RL against the Padres current league leading ERA with the Giants possibly only hitting 8 innings is a real gamble.

going with the Giants here as well. Richard still very young and won't have PETCO to aide him.

FWIW, the Giants are not hitting that well right now, particularly Sandoval who is mired in a slump. Not sure they will get enough runs to cover the RL and they don't hit lefties particularly well and don't normally provide much support for Cain by putting up runs. We shall see. I have been a diehard Giants fan for 52 years since they arrived in SF and follow them closely. Good luck to all you guys. I just hope they win.

Oh, and BTW, SportsOptions reported the Under 7.5 steamed at 8:12:11 pm EDT. That's why the current line is 7.

Great call Ted you were right on with your analysis. The Giants are not hitting and when they do they do it with two outs and strand guys on base. I hope you had the Padres Ted with this analysis as it was dead on! :103631605
