yeah I don't think the stats/trends are favorable towards a pitcher coming off of a no-no.

How is this a square bet... seriously? The better pitcher is a dog here... I know there may be a let down performance, but the opposing pitcher is AWEFUL... Call me a square, but I am all over the A's for my top play tomorrow...
Vegas will love all the Braden love.... A dominant performance, all the squares will come a runnin.... i'm just sayin....

Easy.....vegas dont think he'll repeat the same performance as he did at home last time out vs a very different lineup.

Hey i'm an A's homer, buuuut, Braden's got a better ERA, better WHIP, appeared on Letterman, his head must be pretty big, pitches a no-no, he's never pitched an entire game in his career....sounds like someone is begging you bet him....but i think its back to earth time; while the Halos are stinking up the league......just sounds too good to be true.... so you think the sharp play is the A's huh?....

Let me start out by saying I am not trying to start and arguement... I am just trying to understand... does EVERY game, side, total, prop, etc, have to be sharp or square? I think sometimes there is common sense involved... I think its more "square" to go against him... I think alot of ppl would figure to fade him cause he cant repeat his performance... is that reverse thinking...LOL. I dont know, I just see a struggling team with a shitty pitcher going against a team who is hanging tough so far this season with their ace on the mound... Like I said, square or not square I just think the A's are the play for the price!! If Vegas wanted to make money wouldnt Braden be a huge favorite... I dont know, I am just saying!!

No problem, squares like to spend the rectangular money just as much as the sharps, i may even bet the A's, i'm just sayin there's alot to consider GL

I agree, except for the "got lucky" part. A perfect game is tough to accomplish and takes much talent as well as good breaks. With that being said, tomorrow is a different day and he sure as hell won't throw one back-to-back

I think Braden is a damn good pitcher... take away the Perfect Game... He handled the Yankees and was fierce in doing so. He is a competitor to the highest degree... dont let the Letterman interview fool you! Listen fellas, in all reality none of us know for sure what will happen in any given game. I still dont think the guy is getting respect... I remember a few weeks ago the A's were playing I think the Rays and the board was leary about playing the Rays because of Braden... the Rays were held in check for a few innings then they unleashed on Braden... he may get rocked tonight, he may pitch another NO-NO... he may shit his pants and not pitch at all... I just think the play is on the A's and thats just my humble opinion... I have about a 50% winning percentage so I am no sharp by anymeans... I just know value when I see it and IMO there is value on the guy that just hurled a perfect game against the best team in the league, and now faces a team struggling.... I guess we will see in about 24 hours!!

all this square play or sharp play....its all nonsense.....both sides win....sharps will tell you to fade the public....guess what? Sometimes the public wins....just like sometimes the sharps win....I dont care if its a square play or a sharp play, just make sure its a winning play!

Joe Saunders ain't no Josh Johnson, dude. not even close. In fact, a case can be made that Josh Johnson at this point in their careers is better than Johan.
