I'll take this off the bat and will place this bet im pretty sure when the lines open. With a strikeout pitcher for the cubs who strikes out a tonn.. vs a team that has struggled to get anything done in the last few games, easy top of the 1st.
I am undecided only because I cant figure out the cubs bats.
and, Cubs have not scored in the last 9 games in the first inning which tells me sort of, that they start off slow and are not usually a hot team out of the gate.
the last time they scored in first was vs the dbacks when they spotted a 4-0 start. They didnt score thru the pitt series in pitt in the 1st inning, pitt has scored in the first in the vs the cubs. But I dont see it happening with a strikeout guy pitching..
