I would love the under normally with these two offensively challenged teams if I can find any umpire info and info on the winds. Thanks. The total is at 9.5

Wind is blowing OUT left at 15 mph, and expected to stay that way throughout the game

No ump info yet

Thanks hookem, Wrigley is the worst place to take an under even with these two miserable teams barely scoring runs. I may lay off, the juice on the over 9.5 has been rising slowly and its always a crapshoot at wrigley, If I took any total it would be under first 5 innings

One rule I like to go by with Wrigley is if the wind is blowing straight in at 20 mph or more = under. Even bad pitchers look like aces on the mound...it's very difficult to knock one out ie. fly balls get hung up in the wind. When the wind is blowing out at 20 mph or more = OVER. A good example of this is a couple weeks ago when Zona was in town. The wind was blowing out hard and the total was 13 or 14?? It went over by a few runs if I remember correctly.

I'm in Chicago, and it doesn't seem as windy today as the past few days. No play for me in the total.

Good advice. I am staying away from a total for the game with the lousy bullpens. I sort of like the under first five innings with two run-challenged teams against pitchers who have been throwing the ball well. I just have seen too many innings in wrigley that get out of hand and you see 4 or 5 runs and balls flying out of the park. I may look at the umpires numbers and make a small play on the under first 5 if everything lines up
