Back from the "Best Coast" and feeling very fresh. For almost a week I didn't place a bet, now I'm back and itching to gamble. Last series the Cubs played the Pirates I did a ton of research and everything leaned towards the Cubs. I lost a good bit betting on the Cubs 2 out of 3 times that series. Gorzelanny was lights out the only time he faced his old team, I'm thinking today shouldn't be much different. Also loving the Cubs line-up today, 3,4,5 hitters BA is horrible, but the three hitters in those slots aren't nearly as bad as their numbers show, maybe something gives today. Will update record today, sitting around 60% winners and about even on units. Usually bet 0.5-5* but consistently bet much higher depending on the situation. BoL

"Official" record 43-32 down -11.2 units

"Real" record 45-32 down -1.2 units

I lost over -16 units on May 5th which was my worst day of the year, couldn't hit anything. I think I went 1-7 on cinco de mayo, drunken blur of a day, but that's gambling could have went 7-1 if I had just a little bit of luck. The only difference in the "official" record and "real" record is a monster play I had on the Phillies with 'Doc Halladay -250 and RL, easy winner, but when I got home my thread never posted. I think I hit preview post on accident and ran out the door for work, but whatever, either way have some work to do! Started with a 200* bankroll and trying to double that by the end of the year or at least have 300* before football comes around. Cubs just tied the game, nice...

I have an extremely strong feeling on a 7pm game tonight, might make it a GOY, just waiting for the line-up, will post ASAP, BoL.

No MikeyHoops not the Cards, I'm going to pull the trigger on this 7pm game, just doing some detailed research before I post, might have to post before I see the line-up, shouldn't matter I think I'm looking at a lock here, its an AL game...

18* Orioles ML -115
3* Orioles RL +175

Not going to make this a GOY basically because its the O's and Cleveland has played the O's well for a while now. However I think the Orioles have the upper hand here today and at a very cheap price. The more research I did the more reasons I found not to make this a GOY play, but still in love with the Orioles in this spot. The O's actually have built up a little momentum after the big win last night and the way it came about. Luke Scott is hitting to his standard now which is well above his .213 average. This O's team has some pop against RHP and we might see some of that tonight. Adam Jones .238 BA isn't scaring a lot of people but he's hitting RHP well, all his HR's and doubles have come off RHP, he's hitting RHP twice as good as LHP. Wigginton hit 9 of his 10 HR's of RHP and Wieters hit 3 out of 4 of his HR's off RHP. Guthrie faced the hardest first 7 games in the MLB, IMO. Facing NYY twice, TB twice, Red Sox and Twins, and the A's on the road. Guthrie has pitched really well and I look for him to have a solid outing tonight. Should be an exciting game, I'll back underrated Guthrie to go deep tonight and lean towards the OVER.

The OMEN factor..... I opened my front door and almost stepped on a freaking ORIOLE. I see Orioles around VA maybe once a year, but today I saw one just minutes after posting at 3:41. If that's not an Omen I don't know what is, the O's fly away with this one!! I'm not superstitious but that was just crazy.

yea lespanol defiantly slapping my freaking head after that BS. What a drag, the Cubbies have cost me so much money this year, I can't think of a team I hate more. I'm a Pirates fan and have done OK over the years fading them, but this year they have bent me over pretty good...
