Very interesting angle on totals in MAY

New to the forum... found a new angle on totals in may from some person named "jmon" on the forum over at covers.com

"In May, find two +.500 teams with a total of 10 or higher and play the under.

349-222 since '97

54-16 L3

112-50 L5

9-0 this season"

The only play that fell under this system was the UNDER on the yankees and twins. Makes the system 10-0 this season! :toast:

Probably because some of the teams that are projected to score a lot of runs and get the total of 10 are no longer +.500 teams due to poor run support or shitty pullpens causing them to get the high total. Just a guess.

Interesting. I was guessing that the intensity is a little higher with winning teams facing each other, and that high totals would reflect the solid offense of those good teams without considering that good pitching beats good hitting in baseball.

well as you have noticed there were a ton of overs early on this year. There are a lot of teams scoring runs and winning early, now the good teams figure out who the right guys for the job are in their pens and get their shit straight. The shitty teams keep getting pounded and start losing games.

yessir... trying to find out if the same system works further until june maybe july.

Monday May 17th- no plays yet but waiting to see the line changes for the toronto and blue jays.
