Only western I have liked is Call of Jaurez (Thanks to DEAC) That game was brilliant. Rented it and beat it twice

The first red dead I really didnt like so I probably won't be checking this out. Unless it gets great reviews

last video gamei played was james bond on n64. games are so life like now it is sick.

did anyone pick up the game? if so how is it?

it looks really sick, thinking about going to pick it up soon.

Buddy picked up the game yesterday. Seemed kinda slow to me, but I was watching the Lakers-Suns game and he seemed to get into it. You can drink and play poker, even get shit to cheat at cards.

I always found it hard playing games like this on consoles as opposed to the PC - a lot of it I'm sure had to do with being used to mouse+keyboard control.

I also think Crysis ruined all other 3d games for me, what a great game that was. I hadn't played a FPS since Quake3 until I checked Crysis out.

That being said, RDR looks very cool.
