Damn Lectricity bills sure be gettin' complicated !

Last bill is $127.88 for 665 kwh, or 19.2 cents a KWH. I reckon that means it costs me 19 cents to burn 10 100 watt bulbs fer an hour, less if they be them new-fangled twisty bulbs, I guess ?

Now CL&P is the lectric company, but some other fellows can deliver the lectricity to them and charge me 9.9 cents, instead of 11.51 fer one one of them Kilo-Watt hours, but CLP still gonna charge me like another 9 cents to deliver it to me.... Sheet, I gotta truck, can't I go pick it up meself !

Bottom line is I guess I could pay bout $121 stead of $127 , this feller talked me into it.

It's that de-reg-u-la-tion, stuff !

If you could bottle one bolt of lightning you would have enough power to run all your bulbs for the rest of your life.

Let me tell you what happened to my friend. For over 3 years his electric bill was ZERO each month. They recently notified him that it was a glitch on their end and now want over $8000 that he owes for that period of time.

That's way too high. I'm not sure how much electricity you use where you live but paying that much would cost me around $600 a month in the summer.

I'm locked in at around .11 a kilowatt. During the summer I can expect to use about 3000 kilowatts a month.
