Just a tough day all around yesterday... glad its over with and time to move on. As we all know its inter-league play today, which is always an exciting time... truth be known though, after the first pitch, its just like any other game. So, lets find some winners!! I went over the card today, narrowed it down. I feel as though I trimmed the fat down as much as possible, but it turns out I really like the remaining plays... so I am gonna play em all!! X = 1 unit....

Phillies -132 XX

MIL/MINN over 10 +100 XX

Pads +152 XX

NYY/NYM over 9 -105 XX

Marlins -104 XX

Angels +130 XX

Giants -111 XXX rated....

I post plays at another site as well and everyone keeps warning me about NL teams... I guess as handicappers we look for the trends and odds to be in out favor... but i see it as individual games!! I know the AL has had the upper hand in recent years but the NL does win games too... we just have to be careful, like any other day, and choose wisely... I always look for value wether its Regular season or Interleague play... I guess what I am saying here is I just think its silly to not bet a game bases on interleague... Everyday we try to find the matchup we like the best and these happen to be way the ball bounces today... Having said that I hope the NL does not get swept...LOL.

i agree i just pick al only, i do love the phils 2nite! wat do u think about the ranger game?

I think the pitching matchup definately favors the Rangers. Even though Lewis lost his last two games his ERA in those outings was still well under 4.00. The price is a bit steep at more than -150. I think the fact that the Rangers have the 2nd best home record in the league, have been hot lately, and their entire lineup is intact is vital as well... I had the Rangers circled as a play today but they didnt make the cut for me... I think, aside from the steep price which does not always necessarily scare me away as long as its not -160 or above, the reason I left them off the card today is cause Lewis is averaging about a walk every two innings and that can be costly for the Rangers in what should be a tight game... gotta love them hot Rangers though, so with a gun to my head I would take the home team in this one!!

Problem is in your Phillie picks the percentage of bets on and against is too unbalanced to take seriously. Probably best to just not post on that team. BOL
