Back in the black again after a good day yesterday. Going to get a little more aggresive today:

ATL -1.5 even (4) I seldom bet on my team.
Wash -1.5 +30 (4)
TB -1.5 -10 (4)
Clev +5 (2)
Bost +20 (2)
Mil +50 (2)
Oak +5 (2)

Atlanta now after that terrible 9 game loss streak has a winning record. In the past ten days or so have took 2 out of 3 from Arizona, split with the Mets (could have won the other one as only lost by one run) and took 2 from Cincy. Now they head into Pittsburgh where you never know what the Pirates will do. I think Atlanta puts the big celebration of yesterdays win on hold for now and gets back to business. Hudson can keep the base runners down to minimum and Braves just need to capitalize when the opportunities present themselves. Nothing fancy, just play a solid game to get another win. Maybe a 5-3 4-2 type game. You might luck out however and they are still hot from yesterday, but I would expect a more Tit For Tat game tonight. BOL

Nice analysis! I think the momentum will carry over from the 9th yesterday. Hopefully Laroche won't be over- motivated tonight.

Atlanta is 8-2 Last 10. Pittsburgh has a 10-10 home record. Pittsburgh is 4-6 Last 10. Atlanta a 4-8 road record. You just never know with Pittsburgh, however with Hudson being the Starter, it might level the playing field somewhat of that 50% thing going for the Pirates at home. Ideally, If we could get to the seventh inning with Hudson pitching a shut out, and Atlanta maybe getting 3 along the way, then you only have 6 more outs for the bullpen to close the deal. Watch and see if Hudson can get through 7 with a shutout going. That is the key IMHO.

I agree. I think ATL is due to improve their road percentage in the next few weeks. Traditionally they are a good road team. I do realize this is a different team, at least somewhat. I really thought they were going to have a good year before the season started. Maybe they will be strong from here.

Braves are rocking and rolling again tonight. Hudson has a shutout going into the fifth. No mistakes now. Just keep on keeping on. :103631605
