Is the RX more of a baseball, football, or basketball site?

I live in Philly and for many years we have been classified as a "football" town. Sure there are die-hard hockey fans here, and it would be foolish to say, especially given recent success, that we are not a really big Phillies town as well, but at the end of the day, when all is said and done... Philadelphia, at least at this stage in out citys' history, is a football town.

Synanomously, the RX is a sports forum and there are tons of great sportsfans here (and cappers of course) but what sport truely makes this forum thrive?

The reason I ask is because I personally cap baseball and hockey. The hockey fourm imo is a tight nit group of about 20 or so, maybe less. There are a ton of bases guys too... and alot of lurkers in there as well, but here is what made me think of this question....

When I come into the Offshore forum I realize that I dont really know half of the ppl posting or commenting. Thats weird cause I have been a member on this site for over 5 years. I dont cap basketball or really go into that forum so I am missing the opportunity to meet some sort of percentage of ppl here, and since I cant pick my nose in football let alone a winner I have stayed away from that sport as well... I think most of the ppl here are football, football, football....

It doesnt really matter cause the RX is an awesome site even if you are not a sports fan at all.... but I was wondering why I only know about 20% of the folks on this site... I think its cause at the end of the day, we are a football (town) site.... I need to start hanging out in there more often this coming year!! Perhaps I will meet alot of you this year at the bash, it will be my virgin voyage and I am very excited. I am anxious to hear what you RXers think this site is most populated with...... my guess in football!!

Bigshotmaxx,IMO The RX is mainly a football site as you will see alot more action on here come football time both college and NFL.Dont get me wrong its a great site for everything but to me football is king on the RX.Also I enjoy reading your post and keep up the good work and hope to run into you at the Bash.

Gravy is correct, this is a major football site, but hoops gets a lot of action as well here.

LOL,No just go to the sportsbook and you will find us probably betting on the horses in the afternoon and I will probably have on some Packers shirt or look for the RX shirts.I should be easy to find as I'm 6'5'' tall.

No nametags... damn. JK, I should be easy for you to find... if you look down alot!! I am 5'8". I will be wearing some sort of Phillies gear probablly !! Or maybe my "Flyers Stanley Cup Champion 2010" shirt!!!!!

Football, the main reason being the support of of IOWA FOOTBALL by such a large cast of RX posters.

like every one has said, def football. at times on Sundays like 5 minutes before 1 o clock (kick off) the site lags really bad because so many damn people are logged on. (not a criticism but compliment IMO)
