The NBA has fined Mavericks owner Mark Cuban $100,000 for tampering -- he talked about his interest in signing soon-to-be FA LeBron James. The Rockets and GM Daryl Morey were recently fined $50k each for talking about the collective bargaining agreement, and Suns GM Steve Kerr will cough up $10k for jokingly saying, "If [LeBron] will take mid-level, we'll give it to him. I think he'll take it. Don't you think?''. The NBA encourages the standard "no comment" reply in such situations. May. 22 -
It was Stern's fine on Cuban's comment which prompted my post. If Jordan, Buss, or Colangelo made the same comment that Stern snicker would have been the NBA Response.
David Stern is the biggest scumbag in all of sports, I've heard him compared with Selig but I'm sorry this guy is in a class of his own. A major league scumbag who sooner or later will be exposed for what he is which is a dirty, slimy, unethical piece of garbage who is currently making a mockery of professional sports in general from his referees calling invisible "fouls" in the 4th quarter to his fining owners and players for giving their honest opinions or even obviously joking about players and teams simply for this scumbag to improve his company's bottom line. It's absolutely sickening and the NBA is by far the most poorly managed league in all of sports. My kids will be playing baseball and football because in my opinion after college there is no future in basketball. Thanks alot David Stern :youmad::youmad:^^^^
