I hadnt heard of it, but I would believe it - otherwise whats to stop people betting just waiting and watching the weather reports and solely betting on MLB games where it was raining heavily in the day and the game was likely to be called off.

Not to mention a lot of books offer "Draw = No Bet" lines as well, which could also be easily used to rollover requirements

That would be different. If a bet was cancelled, because of a pitching change, or weather, then it is a refunded bet that shouldn't count. Over 9 that lands on 9 is a bet and should most definitely count.

Ah yeah thats true and should definately count in that case - I just thought you meant all pushes, but yeah landing on the number should count for sure.

The only thing I can think of would be how that particular book's system and software is setup maybe ?

On a couple of books I use, I have seen pushed bets and cancelled/void bets show as exactly the same in my bet history - so if their system doesnt properly distinguish between them, then I would also assume the bonus rollover wouldnt count them either maybe ?

Thats funny, that was almost my exact response when asked this question earlier as well.....i was thinking "cancelled" bets , not a total landing right on....and my response was, i can see why, cuz lots of times they just KNOW a game wont get in, and u could be heavy on it......i had the same line of thinking, wasn't thinking about totals landing on, or an NBA side landing on...those i would think would always count, as money was at risk the whole time.......

when I calculate my rollovers with books, I usually give them quite a bit more than they are asking for just to try to avoid these things.....

They count the lesser of risk/win, and don't count pushes. Fuck them. I won't give them a cent more than they say I have to.

Rollover is such a great tool for the books and it sucks for the customer.

places looking to protect bottom line. if they are that worried about it, don't offer 50-100% bonuses......problem solved
