Oakland hardly sucks. They are above 500 and have excellent pitching. Their everyday lineup doesn't scare anybody, but there are lots of teams out there that would love to have their pitching staff. They have also been hit by injuries and haven't had their expected opening day lineup out there very often. If you want to call them an average team or marginal playoff contender, which in that division they are, then fine. But saying they suck isn't very accurate and Memphis you are a lot smarter than that.
