Prior to this year, only 3 times in the 3 major sports leagues (NHL, NBA, MLB) did a team choke on a 3-0 series lead.

Boston might have two this year - Bruins and Celtics.

If that happens, Boston will be forever known as the Choke Capital of America.

Cub fans will have nothing on you, Bostonians....

okay 12th round You be sure to be the first to step up when Orlando is bounced out of playoffs. When that happens you can tell all how foolish you were to make such an assinine statement. Let's see if you have the balls. If orlando wins I will step up and tell all how arrogant I was in making this prediction.

Orlando rolled against Atlanta & Charlotte, then went cold, and may be heating up again.

Go back to the first 2 games in this series.

Orlando couldn't hit anything.
If they would have hit just a couple of those 3 pointers in games 1 & 2, they would have taken both games.
Now they are hitting those 3's and if it continues what you say just may very well come true....

Feeling the heat, honzie? Patriots, Bruins, now the Celtics.

First city to have two different 3-0 choke jobs is something to be ashamed of. And it's imminent!

Yeah, I am definitely concerned.

But you know, they would have had a chance in game 5 if homeboy didn't get slapped with that B.S. technical.

The Yanks chocke will always be known as the greatest choke. It had never been done before in mlb, it was their arch-rival, they were 3 outs away with the greatest closer ever on the mound and the Sox went on to break the curse.

As a Knicks fan, I grew up hating the Celtics. I could never imagine myself rooting for the C's, but after having lived here for over 30 years I do find myself cheering them on whenever the Knicks have been eliminated - which is every frigging year. I think one factor that has hurt the Celtics is that they are an older team and they are currently playing every other day. Howard is pounding the crap out of their players and it is starting to wear them down if not knock them out altogether. Perkins will play tomorrow so that's a plus. Sheed has played surprisingly well so the C's have to hope that his back is okay, and the status of Big Baby is pretty key. I have nothing to base this on, but I think one way or another the Celtics will find a way to win one of the next two games. If not, the Yankees will have company w/respect to biggest choke ever.
