Bragg looking for your opinion on a sportsbook for baseball is bet jamica any good for baseball lines cause the greek is not. Just asking casue I have local guy that is horrible. He does give all run lines at -110 so is there any value on taking big favorites on a nightly basis through this local guy? Thank in advance for your opinion and good luck today.

Super Sean: I use a local as well (who is GREAT).

I have only used a few and was pleased with betjam and 5 dimes. I heard pinny is pretty good as well (and they offer -1 lines for baseball).

Gots to ask ya, if you're willing to play BoSox, as I am both ML and RL, why wouldn't you do the same with the Reds and Cueto on the bump??? Morton has to be one of the worst pitchers in MLB right now. GL with your plays.

I always find the best lines at Matchbook, favorites, dogs, totals....everything. Also good with payouts. Can also play TV games in progress.

J Bragg,

Thanks for posting your plays. I don't blindly follow but I take what you have to say into consideration daily when making my own picks. You are a great capper on this board and you practice great money management, which is key.

But I would encourage you -- and I'm certainly not telling you how to bet, do what you want -- but I think you should continue to make 3- and 4- and 5-star plays. When you feel REALLY good about a game, gotta go for it, no?

I just hope this decision to release only 1- and 2-star plays isn't in some way the result of the jerks on this board who come on to your thread and cry after you miss one game. There are many of us here who value your opinion and realize that you don't play on the teams you bet on.

tmader7: I was VERY close to making that a play. My gut is telling me no to play it ... and that is what I am going with. Morton is bad, but he actually has pitched pretty well lately. He has had 4 out of his last 5 starts go pretty well. Some of the Pirates hitters have actually hit Cueto pretty well. Cueto only survived 5 innings last time against the Pirates (4 walks, 3 earned runs and a homer) in which the Pirates won that game 5-4.

havinagoodtime: yep ... seems like there has been around 7 games that were capped perfectly and then all of a sudden ... here comes a 6 run 8th or 9th inning. unreal ... but that is part of baseball.

Daffy Duck: I will make those plays ... if they are there. In all honesty, I seem to cap better after the all-star break, so that is why I was saying that.

Not that home field makes any difference for the Bucs (disclaimer: from Pittsburgh), but had Cueto in that game. I think this time around and being in Cincy, and Morton's abysmal road record, worth a shot. GL

I agree ... I just couldn't lay that much juice on 3 games (Rays, Red Sox and Reds) ... so I chose the other two.

Hope you're right with the Rays as I decided to throw them into the fray. Concern is betting against a streak, albeit small, they weren't impressive against the Stros, and BTW, think that's a great play on them. Got wild and threw them into a parlay with Dodgers and Mets, we'll see how good I am, LOL. Again, GL.

Don't want to muddy up Bragg's thread, but he was referring to the previous game to that one in which he lost 5-4 in Pittsburgh. Point to be made though, McCutchen was opposing pitcher and he's much better than Morton who took the beating in the 9-0 game you're referring to.
