Playing when there's "value" can be frustrating

You're almost always taking points in spread sports and doing so with crap teams.

Checked over my history, I've got over a dozen plays this year on the Orioles, Indians, Astros, Pirates, etc.

Not a single bet on the Yankees, Phillies only when Kyle Kendrick is on the mound.

It's more fun being a "square".

Yeah, but would you rather win 4 out of 10 at +170 or 6 out of 10 at -170? The losses come more frequently, but I guess that's part of the territory.

Mr. Locked and Loaded, you have to make value number 1 priority in your capping. I do and I have certain limits on ML wagers. I have found great value in the -160 to -180 range, the last 10 days. The Yankees today are -180 to -200 not -300 as listed. Cinci and Toronto , today are good values. KC has been good + $$ vs. Boston. The Mets and Cardinals are decent value today at + money. IMO. This is after I handicap the game, naturally ,that this evaluation takes place. Best of luck to you!!! ATLSLIM

Squares got one with Tor and Yankees looking like they will do it. Hopefully this sets up tonite nicely. Public/squares won early yesterday and gave most of it back at nite, hoping for the same :thumbsup:

So all I have to do is bet garbage teams like baltimore and cleveland,and I too can become a sharp?Ive never understood this sharp/square shit.The way I see it,there are times you have to take a favorite,and if you're feelin it,take the dog.

When in doubt take the heavy fav on the RL and save some juice............i took mets -1.5 +170..............a lot of value in this one...........only thing that sucks is if the mets win by 1 pt
